Since 1982,
Lauren Mackler has helped individuals and
organizations master the challenges of change,
turn aspirations into reality, and take themselves
or their companies to the next level of success.
|
Hear Lauren Mackler deliver an inspiring and
interactive presentation called Doing Work of
Meaning. Lauren will provide concrete action
steps and tools for liberating your talents,
skills, passion, and values to bring greater
meaning and joy to your life, and greater
value to the world around them.
Many of us ‘play small’ versus
‘dream big’ in our lives due
to limiting beliefs and behaviors that we
unknowingly carry within us from childhood.
Becoming aware of these core ‘drivers’
(which help determine our professional destiny),
updating them with beliefs and behaviors
that support and propel us forward, articulating
a clear professional vision, and developing
and implementing a Strategic Action Plan
for turning the vision into reality are
all critical components for Doing Work of
Meaning.
A highly respected and dynamic consultant,
coach, facilitator, and motivational speaker,
Lauren has been featured in the Wall Street
Journal, Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal,
and on national television and radio in
The United States and Europe. In 2001, she
founded Lauren Mackler & Associates
(LMA), offering management consulting, executive
coaching, and professional development programs
to executives and business leaders aspiring
to build or expand a values-based organization
driven by a motivated workforce that consistently
achieves company goals and results. Other
LMA services include personal coaching and
motivational programs to help individuals
more fully leverage their talents, passion,
and values to bring more meaning to their
own lives, and greater value to the world
around them.
Prior to founding LMA, Lauren led Andersen's
People Strategy and Human Resource Management
consulting practice, served as Vice President
of Learning and Organizational Development
at Boston Financial, and as a Senior Consultant
and Executive Coach at Right Management
Consultants. Lauren also worked as a psychotherapist
and group facilitator in private practice
for several years in Europe, where she received
national acclaim for her ground-breaking
work in using motivation and mental reframing
techniques to manage the emotional and psychological
challenges of life-threatening illnesses.
She holds an M.A. degree in Organizational
Development, Master’s-level German
certification in Psychotherapeutic Counseling,
and a B.S. in Psychology.
